I just want to start out by saying that I am so happy and grateful to all the women who showed their support last week for Women's Day / Week! Thank you to everyone who posted on social media and spread the word about Emerald La Fleur! It really meant so much to me!!
I also want to thank my husband, Andrew, who has been helping me behind the scenes with great ideas for marketing and for just being patient with me as I worked hard all week making what felt like 50+ arrangements and delivering all of them within 5 days!
Last week was a lot of work but that's what I signed up for. To get the word out, I needed to do out reach and directly marketing my products and I was fortunate enough to be in the network of women who was willing to help and support. I really can't thank everyone enough! It also meant so much to me how they all loved the arrangements and made me feel really good inside. It made all the hard work worth it!
I was also fortunate to have been shared on Stories by wonderful women in Cincinnati who I personally admire such as Britney Ruby (CEO of Jeff Ruby Culinary), Karie Ruby (wife of Dillon Ruby, VP of Jeff Ruby Culinary) and Morgan Wilson (wife of Cincinnati Bengals LB, Logan Wilson). And lastly, as of yesterday, I have gained the support of City Beat, Cincinnati's #1 source for local events, music, news, dining, arts & culture, and was posted on their instagram feed. These posts have delivered great exposure for my brand and company and I am very grateful for these opportunities.
It has been a great 3 weeks so far and I am loving everything! It's harder and more time consuming as I thought but I am learning so much! Being able to make valuable connections and making people I care about happy with my creations is the most rewarding feeling!
